Use AD to change back to "Windows update" from "Microsoft Update"?

Ok - after reading and searching and trying not to go "postal" on SVCHost, I
know that the solution for a "single" machine to repair my poor CPU is to go
back to "Windows Update" from "Microsoft update" at the update site and to do
my Office updates manually.
I have a group policy now to push those two internet favorites to all of my
domain PC's and all of them are still set to download updates automatically,
however, what I need to find out and what would save DAYS of work (I have
almost 800 machines), is if there is a way to "push" this solution out to my
domain and to tell the rest of the struggling machines that help is here and
you don't have to struggle with Microsoft Updates any longer.
The reason I want to control this through GP is obvious - 1. I am definitely
too lazy and don't have enough "days" to dedicate to the "sneaker network" of
walking around to every machine manually and 2. if Microsoft ever fixes this
bug, I would still like to have the Office products updated~~
Yes - a wordy post but I've been searching for this solution for days and
I'm spending too much money at Starbuck's to keep me up trying to figure this
out.
Thx~~~~
Jeff
