In general, you connect the web interface or management console provided by
NetAPP and create a disk or LUN on the SAN. Present the LUN to the Windows
server based on a unique identifier such IQN, IP etc. You can retrieve the
IQN name as it's listed in the MSFT iSCSI initiator. Now that the LUN is
presented to this machine via IQN, you need to tell Windows to point to the
NAS device. In the iSCSI initiator, click on the targets/portals tab and
add the static IP or DNS name of the filer. One the next tab you should
see a disk listed as inactive. At this point, you can use the iSCSI
initiator to logon, click the box to restore connections on reboot.
Now you should see the disk like any other in disk management.
