i used 2 different cds.. stupid?

hi!

i have desktop and laptop. both of them have their own xp sp2 cd. i wiped
my laptops hard drive(ubcd) and put clean install to that.. so i installed
..NET framework from my desktop cd to my laptop. i dont know why, dont even
understand what that does.. was kinda lazy for finding its own cd. i have
also made that repair install to desktop. now i cant update neither of
them. i dont have those error codes that i see in other threds so i cant put
it here. just that 89 updates failed.

do i have to wipe my hard drives? i use bitdefender so i dont need that
windows firewall but i want that sp3.. when i installed stuff to laptop it
didnt ask that windows key..

never mind grammary. im finnish..

oh.. and i suck with computers. bought my first 4 years ago.
