We are in Exchange migration now; and facing a problem about after user
account cleanup problem. The actually problem is display name overwrite from
user account to mailbox by the user account cleanup. This problem will cause
this cleaned up user account lost in distribution list.

Please share your experience to me for solve this problem.

I'm having a hard time understanding what causes the issue. Can you explain
with more details?

I am migrating NT4 + Exchange 5.5 environment to Active Directory 2003 +
Exchange 2003 now.

I am using "Active Directory Account Cleanup Wizard" to merge Exchange 5.5
attribute and user account now for next mailbox migration.

Suppose the display name in mailbox will overwrite the display name in user
account, but I am facing the problem is the display name in user account
overwrite the display name in mailbox. This problem will cause cleanup user
account lost in distribution list.

So, I want to know how to control the display name that overwrites from
mailbox to user account.

Happy New Year
