Hi,

I have created three seperate user accounts for persons using the
computer.
Two accounts with password authentication and a guest account. The
trouble is
that when logging off one of the password accounts, I don't get to
choose between all three accounts. Only one of them appear on the
screen. To
get at all three acccounts I have to reset the computer. How come?
What is
the fix for this?

Computer is running Windows Vista Home Premium.

When you say "Guest" account do you mean you have enabled the built-in
Guest account? If so then immediately DISABLE it and set up a Standard
User account and call it "Visitor" or similar. The Built-in Guest
account is not designed to be used by a User.

You state that you have three user accounts including the Guest Account. One
of those two user accounts (not the Guest Account) need to be an
administrator account. In other words the three accounts should work if they
are set up as : Guest Account (on), Standard User Account, Administrator User
Account. The standard and administrator account can be password protected. If
you have the mentioned set-up, then, Yes, if you log-off any one of those
accounts then you should go to the Welcome Screen which shows a choice of 3
different accounts that can be logged or signed into.

If it's not working as stated above then some files in Vista OS has been
damaged and you might want to start with System Restore to repair it.

Hope this basic information steers you into the right direction.
