I recently purchased a new acer computer with Vista. When I first boot up, I
get a User Account Control screen stating that an unidentifed program is
trying to gain access. The file name given is setpointupdate.exe. If I
select either cancel, allow or hit the top x button to turn off the screen,
the computer reboots, no matter which of the three options I choose. After
it reboots, the message screen does not display.

How do I keep this from happenening every time I turn on my computer? Any
help is appreciated, I am very frustrated with this process!

SetPoint is the software update service for your Logitech Device. I
recommend you either accept the update or uninstall the software from under
Control Panel > Program and Features.

Download the latest drivers from Logitech for your device & re-install that
should fix problem.
