User Account Name Problems

When I setup the computer I set the user name to "First & Last". After awhile
I decided it would be better to have a user name with no SPACES in it. I used
the User Account screen to change the user name to "First-Last". However the
old User Account still shows up on the computer, such as the current profile
name shows as "NAME-HP\First & Last". Also when I open File Manager a
directory called "First-Last" is on the Desktop but on the C Drive under
Users I have a directory called "First & Last".
It appears that the two directories are indentical and when I make a change
to one the change is also made to the other.
I want to have ONE user with a name of "First-Last". Can you help me
eliminate the old "First & Last" user name for good?

Thanks!

Hi kschiller,

The only option is to create a new Administrator account with the
username you want, then transfer what you want to the new one and delete
the old user account.

Shawn,

Thanks for the feedback! I was afraid that was the answer but I was hoping
for another less "painful" way to fix the problem.

Cheers, Kevin
