User accounts, Windows XP

Yesterday, I downloaded an update and now windows XP asks me "to begin, click
on your user name". However there are no user names to click on. I can not
get past this screen. It does give me the option to "turn off Erics" This is
my account, but it does not show up to click on to log in.

Press CTRL + ALT + DEL twice (reasonably rapidly) and type in the user/pass.
Then double check your account settings.
