User Data Preference

I get the following Error message every time I try to Update Windows:

Error number: 0x800A0046

I Follow the instructions telling me to enable the "Userdata Preference" and
it still doesn't rectify the problem...

Hi,

Three different things you can try listed here:

When searching for available updates on the Update site, you receive
the 0x800A0046 error.
