user fail to log on msn

I have a problem with logon to msn. My user name fails to log on MSN. I tryed
on several machines. My father can log on MSN on my and the other machines,
so this is no hardware thing, but a problem with my account. I can log on
live id, with no problems, and have tried to reset my password, whith no
result.

can anyone help me out on this ?

If you click the 'Show details' button (assuming you're using the latest version) and reply
back with the error code, that would be helpful.

There's been some reports of some server outages today so it might also be that, and
hopefully now be resolved.

I have the same problem. Searched several forums for a solution, like
deleting contacts from documents and settings folder, dnsflush, reinstalling,
getting an older version, changing firewall settings, disabling firewall,
disabling virus scanner, ... I was able to log in on webmessenger.msn.com for
a while but then the same thing happend.

The error code is : 81000306

I can provide the error log and other logs generated by msn if that would
help.

I made a new windows live ID and was able to login with no problems so im
assuming its something with my windows live ID or email (banned or blocked?)


Anyway hope this can be fixed as i use it for work related purposes

Greetings Jonathan

Errorcode is 81000306, and at this moment i still can't logon. I have tryed
the solutions for this error, but it seems to be my account at MSN that has a
problem, since other MSN users can log on to their account on my machine, and
i get the same error trying to log on to MSN on their machines.

I could create a new account, but the best solution would be to get the old
one to work.

The same problem occured to me a few days ago. In the evening I couldn't log
on to MSN, The next moring however, I could log in to MSN again. In the
afternoon MSN stopped working and the same error 81000306 occured again. Now
Im unable to login still.. I tried the various things the Microsoft Help
suggested, but all were in vain. I would really like this problem to be
solved and I hope someone can help me with this.
