Hello,

Can anyone tell me why after my Vista system goes into screen saver mode for
awhile and I move my mouse to reenter the desktop .. instead of being back
on my desktop, I'm on what appears to be a log-in screen with my user
account showing with my name and the word "locked" beside it. I then
have to click on that to get back to my desktop. Is there anyway I can just
have Vista stay on my desktop when entering the screen saver?

Thanks! Verna

Right-click on an empty area of the Desktop and select "Personalize"
from the resulting context menu. Then select "Screensaver" and remove
the check mark from the "On resume, display logon screen" option. Click
<OK>.

That is the default behavior unless YOU change it to be otherwise in power
options/advanced.
