I set up a Standard User Account for my son on my Windows Vista Premium
System. When logged onto that account it insists on the Administrator
Password when starting up Rhapsody.

I had created the account to allow him to run all programs. Why would it
require this password every time he trys to start that program? In 'details'
it references "User Account Controls".

thanks much,

Ken GreyEagle

Hello,

This prompt appears when an application requires administrative privileges
in order to start.

Unfortunately, the current version of Rhapsody will not function correctly
without administrative privileges.

There is no advisable solution that I am aware of that will allow your son
to run Rhapsody if he is a standard user.

I just had this same problem and Rhapsody tech support had no solution,
so I suppose others may still be going through this.

What has worked for me so far is to temporarily make the user an
administator, install Rhapsody from the user's account, then change the
user's permissions back to standard user after the install has
completed.

So far I have been able to run Rhapsody repeatedly from this (standard)
user's account without being asked for an administrator password.
