user profile logon failed on vista

hi thr ,
i am desperately seeking help as i am not able to logon to my pc as it
says user profile logon failed whenever i am trying to logon to my pc
using my password plz helpthnx in advance....

I'm having the same problem & when I do a search on google it seems this
is not uncommon. I'm seriously wishing I went w/XP. I'm on a brand new
Dell PC & I can't logon to my administrator profile. Any answers would
be great. I tried going in through safe mode (I've read this can help)
but I can't make any changes because it keeps asking for my password. I
deleted the password in safe mode but when I try to logon I still get
the same error...user profile cannot be loaded. HELP!!
