Hello everyone,

I am wondering if it is possible remove the username displayed in the
title of a cmd.exe window in Vista?

When I set a title using the "title" command, the window and taskbar
button become titled "Administrator: " plus the title I set. This
means that it is usually not possible to read the title from the
taskbar.

Can this be changed?

Thank you very much anyone for any help.

Solution found: http://forums.microsoft.com/TechNet/...0569&SiteID=17

It requires resource editing or replacement of cmd.exe.
