Greetings Anela,
With just Messenger on its own, no you can't.
But with Messenger Plus! (
http://www.msgplus.net), you can allow Messenger to start multiple
times and therefore start two sessions of Messenger each with a different account. The
option in Plus! can be found in the main Messenger window, clicking the Plus! tab (or
pressing Alt-U if the menu is hidden), then Preferences, click the Messenger tab, then 'Allow
me to connect to several accounts simultaneously.
Additionally, if you don't like Plus!, you can use A-Patch (
www.a-patch.tk) or Mess Plus
(
www.mess.be) to patch Messenger to allow you to open it multiple times.
If you don't like either of those ideas, you could just run another Messenger client (say
Trillian, aMSN or even the WebMessenger:
http://webmessenger.msn.com) to have another client
to sign into too.
