Using DFSR in a two way domain trust

I need to setup a server at another company that my company owns. My company
(abc.com) is already established and using DFSR internally to backup remote
file shares to the main office. I would like to do the same with another
company (xyz.com). Is it possible to setup a two-way trust (win 2003 R2)
between the forests and configure DFSR on top of that? I have a VPN
connection established.

Thanks,
Nick
