Not sure where to post this question, sorry if I get it wrong:
I like to search through previous threads before I ask a question, since it
usually has already been asked. Is there a way, when searching , to sort the
list of threads that pop up by date? They are all mixed up, a 2004 answer
right next to a 2008 answer, I'm thinking the most recent answers are more
likely to be up to date to what I am experiencing?
If there is no "sort by" then I can deal with that I guess. :-)
Thanks

Do yourself a BIG favour and ditch the horrible web interface. Use a news
reader instead.

Two points:

1. You are using the web interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest,
clunkiest, most error-prone, and least capable method there is. Do yourself
a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as Windows Mail, which comes with
Windows Vista.
See http://www.michaelstevenstech.com/ou...snewreader.htm That talks
about Outlook Express, but it's almost the same as Windows Mail.

2. A newsreader is the best way to participate in a newsgroup, but the best
way to search one is to use Googlegroups advanced search.
