Two points:
1. You are using the web interface to read this newsgroup--it's the slowest,
clunkiest, most error-prone, and least capable method there is. Do yourself
a favor and switch to a newsreader, such as Windows Mail, which comes with
Windows Vista.

2. A newsreader is the best way to participate in a newsgroup, but the best
way to search one is to use Googlegroups advanced search.
