Hi Sankee--
You mean Word 2007 because besides MSFT's joint marketing Bltizs, Word 2007
is separate from Vista.
I strongly suggest that you checkout all the ways to use the clipboard by
going to Word 2007 helpa at
http://office.microsoft.com
You can easily paste from the clipboard:
To paste items one at a time, in the Clipboard task pane, double-click each
item that you want to paste.
To paste all the items that you copied, in the Clipboard task pane, click
Paste All.
But that's not what you asked me so here goes
Symptoms
You want to insert text from another document into the document that you are
working on, but you can't find the Insert File command.
Cause
The Insert File command has been renamed Text from File and moved to the
Object menu on the Insert tab in Microsoft Office Word 2007.
Resolution
Use the Insert tab to access the Text from File command.
Use the Insert tab to access the Text from File command.
Insert text from another file
Click where you want to insert the text.
On the Insert tab, in the Text group, click the arrow next to Object, and
then click Text from File.
In the Insert File dialog box, locate the file that you want, and then
double-click it.

I don't know how or if you can set up an insert key in Word 2007. I'd think
you could, but it's not
To configure Word to use the Insert key for pasting:
Within Word, click Options from the Tools menu.
Click the Edit tab.
Select the box beside the Use the INS key for paste option.
Click OK.
If this is not what you want, try one of the MSFT Word groups:
microsoft.public.word.newusers
answers questions that are far from just for newbies. Go to the newsgroup
button on your Win Mail toolbar and click on that group and subscribe.
Good luck,
CH
