Hello All

If I use the non-classic start menu in Vista SP1, some desktop icons
disappear, including My Computer, Internet Explorer. Control Panel and my
user folder. If I switch back to classic start menu, they reappear.

Any ideas about what's going on? In the start menu properties, customize
menu, these icons are selected.

Thanks.

Regards,,

Hello Anthony,

This tutorial will help show you how to restore those Desktop icons.
See the related links for the icons that are not listed.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Thanks Shawn. That actually worked. I took the check marks out of the icon
boxes, applied, then put them back and applied again, and it reset
everything.

Thanks.
