Using SQL for ADMT DB

Hi,

The ADMT Mig Doc, refers running admtdb create /s
|server:SQLservername\SQLinstance

Two questions on this one:

1. Where do i find the admtdb.exe? since the DB needs to be created before
we start the ADMT installation. I know that it gets installed in
C:\Windows\ADMT\ADMDB folder, but then it is after ADMT install, however the
SQL SB for ADMT should be created before the ADMT install correct? Can you
tell me how admtdb and its associated files can be extracted from admtsetup
file.

2.I am having a trouble running the command, can you explain what it means
by servername\instance. Can you give me an example:

My SQL Server name is ADMTSQL...what is my SQL instance name?

I am using admtdb create /s|ADMTSQL:ADMTSQL\ADMT...it doesnt work..

Hello Venkat,

What you can do is to start the installation and let it begin, during the
installation press the black x in the right corner and cancel the install.
The c:\windows\admt folder will be created and there you will find the complete
extracted files.

Hello Venkat,

After you have precreated the database you can uninstall ADMT from the machine
and start the normal install i think.
