I have recently bought a Logitech Quickcam Messenger to use with MSN
Messenger. At first the camera worked fine with the application but since
downloading the madatory newer version of messenger the camera will no longer
connect to my friends webcam (which is the same make and model). I have been
in touch with Logitech and they gave me a few tests to run to see whether the
problem was with the camera or messenger. It seems that the problem is with
messenger. Can anyone shed some light on what I can do to sort this problem?

Greetings,

Just to be clear, are you able to see your friend and he just not you? Or does nothing work
at all? If you're just using the Video Call button, try sharing each camera individually to
see what happens.

To do so, open up the conversation window to them, hit the Alt key on the keyboard, choose
Actions, then Video, then Show My Webcam. Have your friend do the same.

What is your operating system and version? What version of Messenger are
you referring to?
