Using windows mail deletes my inbox in yahoo using browser

I set up my windows mail to work with my yahoo mail. now that it is set up
all of my inbox messages in yahoo are gone when I access my account via a
browser. A message sent to yahoo wil show up until windos mail synch's then
it is gone in yahoo.

Is there a way to view in both?

To fix that problem, go to Tools, Accounts, select your mail account,
Properties, Advanced, select "Leave a copy of messages on server."
It will be effective from then on, but it won't return previously downloaded
messages to the server.
