Hi All. I am an independant consultant with many clients I support remotelty.
I use RDP in windows servers and RDP into PC on the network from the server.
I have more and more clients who use laptops with Verizon Wireless cellular
cards and getting an RDP connection through the cell cards is usually a pain.
For those users, I resort to having them install WLM on their laptops and
initiate a remote support session with me.

Many times I would like them to leave their laptop on so I can work on it
after hours. Is there any to have WLM remote support initiated by me as
opposed to having the user iniate the request?

Greetings Frank,

Unfortunately not (at least not without some serious hacks and coding on your part) and
certainly not if we're referring to Vista. Really though, assuming you had credentials to
the machine, if you had some way of determining their public IP, you could just use Remote
Desktop directly into their machine (which is what RA is anyway).
