V business: opens same windows every boot

Last Thursday, a week ago, I shut-down the computer with 4 windows-explorer
windows open.

Since then every power-on, and restart the windows open, when starting the
computer.

I hibernated the computer a couple of times. Upon boot, the first 2 times I
got the dreaded "windows recovered from an error" message. And what was
hibernated was not displayed, the 4 windows were.

The last 2 times for hibernating no error message, just the windows.

I have deleted the hiberfil and pagefiles. I have stopped system restore. I
have started all these again. No joy.

I have deleted all temporary files.

The event logs do not reveal the source of the problem.
