my XP boxes now point to v5 for updates, although, having Pro, they aren't
available yet via AU.

Toni;
This applies to Windows XP only.
v5 has been out of Beta for about a month.
You may find v5 on computer at any time.
You can also install v5 simply by typing "v5" in place of "v4".
Both will work with Windows XP.
v5 will be installed with SP-2 if not already installed.
