Hi
I downloaded directx 9 to install on my laptop i thought it might help with
watching videos on youtube as i found they kept stoping and starting on me so
i started to install directx 9 and after it came up with the following

a cabinet file necessary for installation cannot be trusted. please verify
the cryptographic services are enabled and the cabinet file certificate is
valid.
ok
thats it i tried the help program with no success
has anyone come accross this and please say it is easy to sort out

Lower Security. IE, tools menu, options, Advanced tab, see check boxes for
certs.

Hi

Tried what you said even unticked a lot more options unfortunately it still
came up with the same ending.

Back to the drawing board I am afraid.
Thanks any way never thought of that one handy for other stuff in future.
