Validation Of Windows

I am in the process of reinstalling Windows XP. Microsoft won't allow me to
download SP2 because my installation is not valid. The download site then
offers to validate my system. When I accept that the displays a message that
a problem has been encountered with my system and it can't complete
validation.
Is there any help available about how I might solve this problem?

Please download and install:

http://www.download.windowsupdate.co...d496154544.exe

Then re-boot Windows. Does this solve your problem?

Thank you, I appreciate the help. Down loading Windows Genuine Advantage
Notifications (KB905474) solved my problem.
