I have a home basic version of vista. can I have vb6 on it? I installed vb6
on it, but it have been installed with some errors, so that some of it's
components can't work properly. does it have any solution?

Don't know for sure but this might be a better option.

You'll have to play around. It depends on what components you need. You'll
need to runas Administrator for some things.
