Verification email problems...

Hi everyone,

I appreciate this is probably a frequently asked question, but searching
through the other threads on this hasn't really helped me much.

I have recently set up a new account for my MSN messenger using a non-msn
email (hushmail)
It has been several days and I still have not had my verification email. (So
I have that annoying 'email address not verified' next to my name on Live
Messenger.

I have used the 'resend verification email' function on several occasions
over the past few days, but the mail has still not come through.
I have checked my email spelling is ok and checked in the spam folder - but
nothing.

I've also had a look through the microsoft tech support center for any clues
ir even just for a contact mail for someone directly from the support team
(fruitless once again)

Any help would be appreciated!

Cheers,

Uno'

Greetings Uno,

The easiest solution would just be to contact Windows Live ID services and have them manually
verify you. You can contact them using the form here:
https://support.live.com/default.aspx?productkey=wlid
After clicking the link, choose any option from the FAQ on the left, then choose 'Get more
help' at the bottom right, and then 'Get more support'.

Hi Jonathan, thanks for your help.

I have tried what you suggested and filled out the email form. But when I
click the 'submit' button I am forwarded to the followring error page:

Sorry, the page you requested is not available.

The page you were looking for is currently not available. The address may
not be correct, or there may be a temporary problem with this site. Please
try one of the following options:

* Check the address for typing errors.
* Click the Back button and try a different option from the navigation
menu.
* Try this page again later.

Is the link down?

Cheers,

Uno'

Hi Uno,

You aren't the first to have such problems, just try again.

I did give it a go myself tonight, and it seems to be working.
