With the new software, all I have to do is plug the ($30.00) cable into the
phone & the usb port on the p.c. all works wonderfuly....otherwise, you have
to pull the card out of the phone and use the memory card reader to transfer
music.
What you are discribing is what happend before the new software was
installed....it just would not work going around in circles with the loop
you are talking about.
Another thought is that if you have installed the driver but not the
software, you may need to put your phone into the synch mode manually.
