Hello, please help. Please don't tell me to uninstall Vista because I can't.
But I'm getting the same problem reported by some others - the signing in
goes on forever. If I put in a wrong password, it tells me instantly.
I have already tried:
- running a couple of registry batch files by Jonathan Kay, which seemed
to help most people with this problem
- checking Run As Administrator in the compatability tab
- even trying run as XP in compatibility mode
- I then tried installed version 8.0 which a lot of people seemed to think
worked wonders. Unfortunately, as soon as I started up version 8.0, it told
me that I HAD TO UPGRADE to the latest version - so I'm back to square one.
Any ideas? Is Messenger simply not compatible with Vista?
