Hello
I wanted to check if I have SP1
I have right clicked on my computer, >properties> and don't see anything to
indicate I have SP1
I have entered winver in the run command line box and no indication
I have gone to windows update and SP1 is not offered as an available update.

Thanks
Richard

Hello,

Most likely your audio driver is realtek and its not updated and its not
letting vista download the sp1

you can download the sp1 as a standalone installer but before you do this
see my blog and look at the last link on this page
where I point to a microsoft article

If you right click on computer in your start menu and select properties or
run winver you'll see that service pack 1 is installed if it is. If it is
not installed, there will be no reference to SP1. You'll find info about SP1
and you'll be able to download and install it here:

Thanks for the responses, it turns out that there were a few updates I had
not downloaded
that was preventing me from having SP1 available to download
