Very odd icon overlay problem

I've just restarted my PC after doing some changes - which included
using TWEAKUI to try and get rid of the annoting shortcut arrows on
the desktop and now find that over every destop icon there is another
one which looks like a hard disk icon with a ring above it. How can I
get rid of them?

Yes I know I should have known better than to use the TWEAKUI for XP
!!

Hi Len,

You might try using this program called "Frameworkx". It may help
replace those messed up shortcut overlays from "TweakUI XP" with one
that works right.

The Tweak Vista site has the answer. You may have to search. I did it awhile
ago (removed all the shortcut arrows)
