VHD Drivers

Hello - hopefully someone can assist me. I have been forced to run Windows
Server 2008 Repair on a guest machine running on Virtual PC 2007. In "System
Recovery Options", there is no OS listed, because the repair process cannot
find my hard drive.

I have the option to "Load Drivers" but have no idea where to find the VHD
drivers I am presuming I need here. Plus, I think I need to have them in an
ISO format, since I only get the option to "Insert the installation media for
the device ans click OK to select the driver"...and I can only browse the
media devices on the Virtual PC.

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

windows 2008 repair on vpc guest??
I am probably not answering your question you hope for.
if you want to migrate a vpc 207 guest to run on w2008 hyperv, here is the
step:

1. first remove to remove all vpc vmaddition from the guest while being
hosted on vpc 2007
2. copy the vhd for the guest over to w2008 to the right place and add the
guest
3 with the guest on w2008 started and connected on the console,
login in administrator for the guest,
click on action and add/remove ...vm additions
let the guest run the vm addition to completion and reboot the guest
