Video call not working

I am trying to make a video call to a friend. We both have vista 32. It
worked great with 8.5 but after being FORCED to move to 2009 it will not
work. Generally we both get the cam with the red "X" over it. Sometimes
one of us can actually see our own cam but we have never been able to
get to see both cams. The sound quality is also very poor. Is there a
solution to this? We have moved to another program for the time being
but would like get back to WLM. Is there a chance Microsoft might remove
the forced upgrade and let us go back to 8.5 which in my opinion did NOT
need upgrading.

I had exactly the same problem. I fixed mine by going to the McAfee Sit
Advisor in my web browser and click on "update". When the updat
finished I was amazed to see that my camera worked and I was able t
have a video call and do audio/video set up. Hope this is useful. giv
