Hi-
When maximizing a video call to full screen on my widescreen monitor, it
stretches the image out and distorts it. Is there a way to have Messenger
recognize that I'm using a widescreen monitor and maximize to a truer aspect
ratio? I know I could adjust the overall dispaly properties for Windows, but
am looking for a way to specifically alter Messenger's behavior on maximize
since it is the only app where this is an issue.

Yeah I think you'll have to just change the resolution to make this work properly right now.
This is definitely a bug.

Hi,

I did a quick test here with my own widescreen and saw what's happening on 8.0. But it this
actually appears to be fixed in Windows Messenger 8.1. Might be worth trying out since this
is an issue for you:
