video card & PCI & PCI-E slots?

hi wonder if you could help me?,i have vista home premium on my computer and
i use to play halo on pc.the game worked fine! intill i upgraded!!!,when i
start the game the game runs normal,but when i move around it runs slow and
chiping kind of nosie out the audio like the video card cant keep up??,well
my video card is a nvida 6200 with 256mb graphics.,but vistas WDDM driver
takes 128mb so is that the reason why halo is running funny??.next
qestion.......what colour are PCI slots?? so i can identify the right
slot.thanx heaps!!

PCI-E slots have an extra section of pins, Cards are a little longer, sorry
cannot tell you the colors ( i am color blind )

thanx heaps man.but i need to know the colours of the slots cos its esy to
say there got extra pins but i would not know were to start? like i mean..is
it bigger than a normal PCI slot? or how do i know when i open up my
computer and know witch slot it is? cos there is like 5 slots plus other

The PCIE slots have a small clip ( latch) at one end that helps retain the
card. The PCI slots do not have this clip.

Also...PCI slots are usually white ( don't have to be though). PCIE may be
black, yellow, green, red, white , purple ( I've seen all those colors for
PCIE). Here's some pictures that may help:
