Not exactly the right forum for your question,
but you could use a program like Virtual Dub to encode to XVid or DivX
formats.
Compressing any soundtrack also greatly reduces filesizes
(though DivX is a touchy subject for SP2 users) for small file sizes.
It'll resize also.
The recipients need to have the compatible codecs installed also at their
end.
