Video Converter Vista

Can any one tell me, which popular video converter program will work well
with Vista

I have Power video converter and I am not sure whether is will work

I am very happy with Vista it works very well but a "heavy" up to date
computer is a must

I use WinAvi 7.7 it comes w/several codecs, you will need the Xvid and the
newest Dvix codec to use those formates
