NEVER download and install video drivers from the Microsoft Windows Update
site. Always download the latest from the manufacturer.
If you're running ME or XP do a system restore to a date/time before you
installed the drivers that screwed things up.
You can also boot into Safe Mode, open Device Manager, and remove all video
drievrs you find, reboot and try to install the original or the latest from
the manufacturer.
