I recently tried to delete a bunch of video files from my computer, an
there's one in particular that would not delete. Permissions aren't
problem here. You can choose to delete the file or send it to th
recycle bin, but the task will never complete
The "Recycling 1 item (174MB)" (or Deleting 1 item) window comes up
the green bar does its scrolling thing, but it stays at (Discovered
items (0 bytes)) and never actually makes any progress. Trying t
delete the entire folder results in the same issue
Trying to rename the file, or the folder that it's sitting in freeze
Windows Explorer (or whatever it's called these days. Actually, havin
just tried to rename the folder, not only did it freeze, it froze hard.
the "This program is not responding" window, won't pop up. I can star
the task manager, but clicking "end task" does nothing. Task manage
doesn't freeze. Also, my Start Menu/Taskbar/System Tray is gone. Tha
part of my screen is now black
What is going on here? How can I get rid of the file
