Hi,

A couple of weeks ago the video capability in MSN Live started to freeze up
upon connection in conjunction with my cpu usage constantly running at 100%.

This means my contacts can no longer have a video or voice call using MSN as
it appears to completely freeze and become useless.

Prior to this my pc had no problems and i've run numerous spyware/virus
programs which have revealed no probs.

I've also tried skype but this makes the pc run even slower.

I'm running XP Pro on a pc thats 2 yrs old using a minimum 512k connection.
My contacts are also running on a minimum 1mb connection.

Any help please

Stu

This could be a problem with your computer hardware. Could you please
tell me what processor and amount of ram you have? If you do not know
how to find out, press the key combination WinKey+Pause/Break and it
should in general under computer.

This may also be a Windows Live Messenger bug but I would like to find
out your computer hardware first.

Can you tell me which hardware devices you have configured in the Voice and
Video Setup wizard of messenger? Should be under the Tools menu.

Thanks,

Jack
