Video for Messenger Display Picture

Could I Make a Video for the Display box using My Camra Phone

Greetings,

Not very easily. The dynamic display picture feature supports webcams only. As such you
would have to record what you want using your camera phone, transfer it to your PC somehow,
then install something like ManyCam (www.manycam.com) which would allow you to play videos
through a webcam driver, set Messenger to use ManyCam in the Audio and video setup, then
finally play the video through ManyCam while using the dynamic display picture feature in
Messenger.

Alternatively you could use a tool to convert your video into an animated GIF file, which you
can use in the latest Messenger as a display picture also.

Hi Windos54 – the accepted file types for your messenger display picture
are: JPG, BMP, GIF, and PNG.
