Video games are generally speaking *not* the area of virtualization,
no matter which virtualization product you look at.
Emulated video is always very lacking.

The only thing I can think of is:
- VirtualBox is free
- VMWare Workstation 6.5.3 is not

But I still doubt that you will get what you want in terms of video
performance from either of them.

VirtualBox is easy to install and use. But I agree with the others - it
is probably not up to snuff for games.

If you have been using VPC 2007, VirtualBox has much the same look and
feel as the Connectix based VPC.

Which should not be necessary for a Halo server:
From http://www.bungie.net
Halo dedicated server requires a personal computer with the following
minimum requirements:
? Multimedia personal computer with a 733 MHz or higher processor
? Windows 98 SE, Windows ME, Windows 2000 Service Pack 1, or Windows
XP
? 128 megabytes (MB) of RAM
? 200 MB of available hard disc space
? Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
? Broadband internet connection

These differ from the retail version of Halo PC by not requiring:
? 8x CD-ROM drive
? 32 MB 3D hardware-transform-and-lighting capable video card
? Sound card and speakers or headphones
? DirectX 9.0b

Parallels Workstation Extreme is very interesting, if you have the
specific HP Z800 workstation, SLI-nVidia and $400 for the program.
