Videos started flickering.

I have a Windows Media Player 11 installed in my Windows Vista. I've been
using it for 3 years with no problems, and suddenly everytime I play a video
(either stream or a downloaded one) it starts flickering. Any ideas to fix
this? I tried downloading updates but still doesn't get better.

Which updates did you download, and did you install them? What's the
file type of these videos (AVI, WMV...)? Does this happen for other file
types too? Did you install anything or made any system change right
before this started happening?

If you update your video card drivers to the latest version, does that help?
