I would like to view the saved passwords on my computer. I am only able to
view the username and website. Is there a way to actually view the passwords
on my computer?

Website passwords are normally kept on the website where the password is
used. The information for the password is kept in a cookie file on the PC,
but these passwords cannot be read from those files.

Most websites that require a password will have a 'forgot password' option
that you can use to have that website send you the password in an email.

I think they are talking about the passwords that Internet Explorer saves for
you (aka "Do you want internet explorer to remember this password for you so
that you don't have to enter it each times you visit this site?").
(Autocomplete)

As far as I know there are not ways to view these saved passwords without
the use of an external program, and even then I'm not sure it's possible with
Windows Vista.
