I reached the maximum limit for storing message history for WLM. The program
asked me if I wanted to archive the old messages and start a new log. I said
yes. Now, when I look at my contact's message history, only the new log shows
up. When I go to My Received Files, The archived file is there (as is the new
message history), but it is an XML file. Is there any way I can open this and
view it in a normal table like what 'View Message History' normally does? How
do I open this XML file?

Greetings,

You can just open up the XML file in Internet Explorer (or any modern web browser). There's
an XSL which does all the formatting for you.

You can also open it up using other applications which support some degree of XML parsing,
like Excel 2003 or later. However, Excel doesn't handle it too well (performance wise) so
it's not as good as just using a browser.
