Every time I click on a desktop icon, say Google for example it opens up OK,
but the page is about 8 by 10 inches in size. If I want a full screen I
click on the box in the upper right-hand corner to make it a double box and
then I get a full screen. When I X out and get back to the desktop I click
on Google again and I get the small 8 X 10 screen again. I can also make it
larger by stretching the screen upper, lower, top, and bottom to make it
larger and when I get out of it and go back it is small again. When I right
click on the desktop icon and bring up properties there's no way I can
maximize the display. I would appreciate your help in getting the site to
come up full screen every time I click on the desktop icon. Thanks a lot.

Next time, don't "X out" after setting it the way you want. Right-click on
the toolbar tab for that window and choose CLOSE.

Change the Properties 'command' of the shortcut from
"http:/google.com"
to
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" "http:/google.com"
OK
and then use the Properties of the shortcut again, to set the "Run" dropbox
to "Maximize"

Use the "Ratings" feature. It helps the new users.
