Vinyl AC '97 Audio Wave Update

Are there any safe free download sites to update Vinyl Ac '97 Audio Wave? I'm
trying to install a small game and that is the message that the game software
tells me,I need to update the audio. Please help.
Also ran scan from "Driver Doctor" which won't fix anything (and it found a
lot of oudated stuff) until you pay for it. Would appreciate if anyone could
walk me through where I can find updates for all these drivers if I run the
scan again and send them to this group. Or what software I can buy that will
fix all these updates I need. Thanks!

Download the audio drivers from your motherboard manufacturer's web page...

via chipset - I assume.
