Sun has just released version 6 of their JRE :
http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Click the Download button next to Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6
Put a mark next to Accept license agreement and then download the
Windows Offline Installation, Multi-language package.
Save it, close the browser, and then install it.
*BEWARE* of any attempt to install UNneeded toolbars or desktop search
crap during the installation.
